The Sampson family hopes to create a scholarship in memory of William and Barbara Sampson. Instead of sending flowers, you can donate to the Westfield Education Foundation to assist the family in establishing the scholarship. The foundation will work alongside the family to honor William and Barb.

Barbara Ann (Barmore) Sampson grew up in Indiana and found her calling as a teacher at a young age. Her kind-hearted nature, sense of humor, and love for knowledge made her a beloved first friend for many preschoolers. Barb was an enthusiastic reader and a caring individual who passed on her passion for learning and creativity to her daughter and grandchildren. In honor of her memory, Barb's family aims to create the William and Barbara Family Scholarship to continue her legacy of teaching.

William Gene "Bill" Sampson was a man who devoted himself to his faith, loved ones, and friends. He valued spending time with his family and participating in his grandchildren's activities, as well as fishing, reading, and volunteering through his local church. Bill was also deeply committed to education, demonstrated by his participation in the Westfield Washington School Board and his efforts to establish the Westfield Education Foundation. His family has now established The William and Barbara Sampson Family Scholarship, which will benefit graduates of Westfield High School as a tribute to his memory.
