In loving memory of

Tucker Ryan Swain

July 27, 2013 — April 29, 2023

Tuckers Picture In Blue Chair.jpg

It is with great sadness that a member of our Rocks family, Oak Trace’s third grade student, Tucker Swain, has passed away. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families, friends, staff, and community members who had the pleasure to be touched by his life and spirit. Tucker was a valued member of our Shamrock family and will be greatly missed. We ask that you keep the Swain family in your thoughts as they go through this unfathomable experience. During times like this, it is most important that we continue to come together as a Shamrock community to support one another.

We understand that many of our Shamrock community want to support the Swain family. We will update this site as opportunities to do so become available.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a Celebration of Tucker's Life at 5:00 pm, on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Grand Park Event Center, 19000 Grand Park Blvd, Westfield, IN 46074.  Matt Gaylor will officiate.  For those attending, please wear casual clothing, especially those of your favorite sports teams (except Purdue), to remember Tucker's love of sports.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westfield Youth Sports, PO Box 624, Westfield, IN 46074 (www.wysi.net).

The Swain family has generously asked to have donations in Tucker's memory be directed to WYSI.

Brittany and Ryan Swain, along with Tucker's 3 siblings, need our love, prayers, and support. One way that you can help is by contributing to this Go Fund Me to ease the ultimate financial burden that they will experience over the coming months. If you didn't have the honor of knowing Tucker, he was a kind, smart, funny, creative, and athletic boy who made our world a better place. Many may have recently seen him as "Economan" in the 3rd-grade play at Oak Trace - Tucker shined. One of his classmates said: "Tucker knew and was friends with EVERYONE." He was a beloved member of the Rocks Family and was always participating in a sport, including being a member of the Gold team for basketball & baseball and he was a member of the WYSI football program. While we all grieve this heartbreaking loss, we can help the Swain family. No amount is too small and will be deeply appreciated. The Swains need us to put our arms around them and let them know much we care and love them.
